Training for The Pig (half)

Today I ran 7 miles. Target race is the Flying Pig Half Marathon which will be on Sunday May 5. Less than one month away and I have a lot of work to do yet. Mostly I need to focus on getting a couple short runs in during the week. I have been doing ok at getting my long runs done.

I missed some runs while I was sick with strep throat at the end of March. Then it’s just tough getting back into it again after the long rest while sick.

My body feels pretty good today. I will definitely need to stretch tonight. I’m really excited for race day. It’s always one of the best days of the year.
